Artist at heart, Stephanie Roman is Sr. Program Manager of Leadership, Learning and Racial Equity bringing over 10 years of experience of working with activists, artists and people from across the Americas. She works with mid-career to c-suite level Latinx/a/o professionals in the philanthropic sector to build power by cultivating spaces that gives folks the opportunity to learn, heal and strengthen their self-analysis around racial equity. Stephanie also leads, HIPs racial justice work to disrupt philanthropy norms towards transformation and liberation.
Stephanie was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert and studied Interdisciplinary Arts & Performance with a focus in photography and creative problem solving. In her free time she works with CALA Alliance (Celebración Artística de las Américas), a multidisciplinary Latino arts organization and volunteers with Phoenix local mutual aid.
